My name is Heather Moreau of Vallentyne photography. I'm a newborn, family, branding and school photographer based in North County San Diego and I am honored to work with you this school year.
My goal is to provide a custom, boutique experience to all families attending the schools who have chosen me to photograph their students. My service is personal and professional. Unlike large, corporate photography operations, I only take on a few, select schools so that I can provide superior customer service and artistic images.
I never force a smile and simply aim to capture the essence of the children I photograph. No awkward poses or faces, just the authentic child, on the day. The results are genuine and timeless portraits that are far from the traditional cheesy photos we have become accustomed to with bright flashes and unflattering, busy backgrounds. I provide light and fun experience for your children and take pride in providing an environment where the kids can relax and be themselves, naturally.
WHAT IS A FINE ART SCHOOL PORTRAIT?
Fine Art School Portraits are a modern approach to school photos. No more cheesy smiles with strange backgrounds. The background will be black and the photos will be simple and classic. Instead of forcing a cheesy grin, the children will be encouraged to be themselves and will never be forced to smile.
WHAT CAN PARENTS EXPECT?
I am a completely online operation. Families are linked to individual online ordering galleries. Galleries are set up according to grade, homeroom, age, or whatever grouping which makes sense for the school. Each child will be provided 2-5 images, presented in both color and black and white. The family may chose the photos they want printed, as opposed to having a pose chosen for them. I also provide boutique product choices such as canvas gallery wraps and digital images for future printing and archiving. Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to your home.

Wednesday, September 27th 2023, at 8am
WHEN IS MAKE-UP DAY?
Wednesday, October 11th 2023, at 9am
HOW WILL I ORDER?
Within two weeks of photo day, you will be e-mailed the link to a class proofing gallery.
There will be 2-5 images of each child. Images will be in both color and black and white.
You will be able to order prints, print packages, canvas wraps, and digital files directly from the viewing gallery.
The ordering process is simple and secure. Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to your home. The gallery will be live for 14 days. (Oct. 26th is the last day)
ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED IN THAT 2 WEEK PERIOD. (Oct. 26th is the last day)
Once orders have been placed, your photos and/or canvas wraps will be delivered directly to your home.
