Bernardo Winery, Weddings & Receptions at a Working Vineyard

Bernardo Winery is a fully functioning, 121 year-old winery that is still producing wine today! It is honestly a San Diego wedding photographer’s dream venue because everywhere you look has another photo opportunity! From beautiful vineyards, olive trees, gardens, historic buildings, and vintage wine-making equipment, I love this environment! It is such a beautiful wedding venue.

Joe & Kimberly met through a mutual friend at one of their sons’ baseball games. They realized that they had worked together at an elementary school about 20 years earlier. Little did they know then that they would reconnect years later and fall in love. 🙂

Wedding Venue:
Bernardo Winery is a fully functioning, 121 year-old winery that is still producing wine today! It is such a beautiful wedding venue! It feels like you have been transported to an old world village! From beautiful vineyards, olive trees, gardens, historic buildings, and vintage wine-making equipment, I just love this environment! The Bernardo Winery tasting room is classic and beautiful and I always love photographing weddings here!

My Favorite Moment:
My favorite moment was the first look at the beginning of the day. When Joe got to see how beautiful and amazing Kimberly looked, he definitely teared up a little bit. I just love the way these two interact with each other, the love on their faces is evident and I feel so lucky to photograph a union between a couple who is so obviously meant to be together.
