"I'm not even sure where to begin with writing this review. Heather is an AMAZING photographer. She shot my brother's wedding back in 2013, and did an incredible job at his wedding that when it was my turn, I knew she would be ours too. My husband and I got married in July of 2018, and while Heather hadn't shot at our venue before, she came to our final detail meeting to scope out the location and do prework. She didn't have to do it, but it was another opportunity for us to meet in person too before the big day and go over the photos we wanted. Heather is incredibly professional and kind, yet also has the right around of direction to herd family for family photos! Getting 25 people in one photo is no small feat, but she is up to the task and makes you feel at ease. Throughout the day she was incredibly sweet, checking on us to make sure we were okay, but also giving us direction for when she found the perfect shot. Smiling hurts after a while! So when we were getting a bit tired she was flexible and made it work. She is helpful, dedicated and thoughtful which made her such a joy to work with. Not to mention, the photos turned out AMAZING. We have had so many compliments from family and friends; they are all obsessed with them! We are too, of course :) We loved working with you, Heather!"

"I don't even know where to begin! I reached out to Heather about a year ago after seeing such amazing reviews. I had no idea what I was doing or how to go about finding good vendors for a destination wedding. I did know, however that the gallery on her website was exactly the type of photos I wanted for our intimate ceremony. From day one Heather was such a great help giving me recommendations of where to go for the "reception" (more like a family dinner after), hair stylists in the area and even putting together the entire timeline for the day. I booked Vallentyne Photography pretty far in advance and Heather would periodically send emails just to check in and see if there were any more recommendations I needed. The day of the ceremony I finally got to meet her. She is a very sweet lady and made me feel at ease right away. Throughout the day she would disappear and capture all the little details of the hustle and bustle of everyone getting ready. She even managed to take some ADORABLE photos of the 4 year old twin ring bearers who had just woken up from the nap (no clue how lol). During the ceremony and after she did an amazing job of making sure we got all the group photos we wanted and then some! I'm still in aw at how amazing and detailed the photos are. "I contacted Heather for a family photo shoot that we arrange annually in a different city each year as a mothers day gift for all the moms/aunts/grandmas of our very large family. Our situation is unique, as a few of our families live very far away and commute-in specifically to do pictures. I arranged the time with Heather a few months in advance to secure her services. Heather was fantastic to work with, accommodated each child at their developmental stage (ages 1-13 years old), and did not rush the sunset beach session. We had ample time to shoot, and she continued with us well after the sun was down to make sure everyone got plenty of time and options. She had lots of ideas for locations and made the time very comfortable for each kiddo. Files were emailed to us promptly and we have exclusive rights to print as many copies and sizes we need. As I mentioned, I organize something like this each year and use a different photographer each time due to using different cities to rotate the families that need to travel. Heather was awesome!"

I'm not comfortable in front of a camera but your great direction before and throughout the shoot helped me (and my family) relax and have a fun time without even having to think about what we were doing. These are the best 30th wedding anniversary pics I could have ever gotten!! As I told you, I got married at 18 and a friend took a few snapshots of our wedding for us. Some with heads half cutoff the top and some of people in hotel lounge area we didn't even know. Snapshots like that. Lol!
