Big Island Wedding Photography | Erin + Hunter

I have to admit….this is one of my all time favorite shoots, ever. I was lucky enough to work with Erin and Hunter on their wedding photography at the Mauna Lani Resort on the Kona side of the island while staying with my family on the Hilo side of the island. I love the Big Island and for me personally, I can’t get enough of the Hilo side. It doesn’t have all the resorts which is a plus for me and my family. It feels like you are going back in time to a natural and gorgeous Hawaiian setting full of green and jungle everywhere. We found the most amazing VRBO I have ever stayed in called the Pu’u Moi cottage. It’s a small cottage on a 20 acre horse farm overlooking the ocean with a private salt water infinity pool, private waterfall with swimming hole, fruit orchards, and beautiful horses grazing on the knee high grasses ever afternoon. Does that sound perfect enough? It truly was. The owners of the property were kind enough to allow me to photograph the couple on the property and we got some amazing and unforgettable photos. It really was wonderful, I couldn’t have asked for clients that were a better fit.
