Without further ado, onto our interview together!

Please explain what you do using your name, your experience or background, the name of your business, and anything else you’d like people to know as they are introduced to who you are.

A. My name it Terra Burke, I’m a Business and Life Coach and my goal is to bring the feeling of being more alive to my clients by helping them identify the bold moves needed to bring the dreams of their heart alive. I’ve been coaching since 2018, and it is my job to help my clients unpack what is emotionally, physically and spiritually holding them back from reaching the level of success they desire.

Q. What does your company do? What makes your service or product unique or notable?

A. Move With Terra is a place for people to work on four pillars of life- emotionally, physically, spiritually and relationally. If you are in business, we also look at your financials to see the health of your company and goal set. Coaching is a gift that you give yourself- it’s a place to dream, create and execute on the desires of your heart. It’s my job as your coach to be so aligned with your goals that I help you stay focused when you start to drift from the habits and routines that allow you to move from dreamer to dream maker.

Q. What inspired you to create your business? Is there anything about the clients you serve that you were drawn to, or is there anything about the impact that you’d like to have that you’d like to share?

A. I created my business when I had to reinvent myself and rebuild my life after my divorce. I started to walk through that fire and little by little, I started figuring it out. At the time, I was already a personal trainer and coach and moving into high performance/transformation coaching just seemed like a natural extension of what I already had created in life. For me, I know that the right clients will find me- whether you find yourself taking a deep inventory of life and needing a complete transformation or maybe running your business more efficiently and effectively- I’m here for you. Change can feel so hard at the beginning, but once you start building the emotional and physical muscles needed to withstand change- you will feel unstoppable.

Q. Are there books that you’d recommend to people in your niche or books that you just generally love?

A. Oh, I love books in this genre! I’m an avid reader and if you’re just starting on this journey let me give you some of my faves: “The Mountain is You” by Brianna Wiest, “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz, “The One Thing,” by Gary Keller, “The Miracle Morning,” by Hal Elrod, and “Atomic Habits,” by James Clear.

Q. Are there any resources or assets (things like software or courses) that have really helped you uplevel your business?

A. I’m constantly taking courses, and attending workshops for both for yoga and coaching. This is a lifelong pursuit for all of us. I’m a life-long learner and I always tell my clients we are growing side by side. I’m committed to growth and helping others unlock their potential. I don’t think I’m ever going to arrive- my goal is to enjoy the pursuit and create so much treasure in the journey. Treasure/Success is defined differently for everyone and as your coach, it is my goal to help you get clear on what lights you up so you can do more of THAT!

Q. What would you say is the main thing that has helped you to grow in your business. This could be a personality trait, an event, a mindset, etc.

A. I’ve had to be patient and trust that everything is happening at the right time- the good, the bad, all of it. I have a lot of momentum in my profile so I really have to give myself permission to start small and grow slow in every area of my life. If this sounds like you, here’s a tip: I always ask myself “what micro shift can I make right now?”- then I go for it! That’s when my momentum shows up, and it helps serve not just my dreams but it works well for my clients too. I don’t wait until I’m ready and have it all figured out, if that was the case, I’d never start. I stay motivated because I don’t want to look back at my life and wish I had taken more risks and tried all the things that make me happy.

Q. If you started your business over today, what would you focus on first to help you grow?

A. If I had to start over today, I’d tell myself don’t stop. Even if it’s slow, just stick with it. And do more things that scare you so you see if it fits right away.

Q. What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?

A. You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.

Q. What is your favorite mantra?

A. My favorite mantra comes from the Bible. You can find this verse in Matthew, Mark and Luke. When the disciples asked Jesus what was the most important commandment, he is quoted three times in the Bible, “Love the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.” This is my guiding light in life- I especially love the strength part. This is when I feel that part of me that loves moving with people. I think about how wrestling well in life is so important. Sometimes you just need a good sweat on your mat to bring the heart, mind and soul into alignment.

Q. What was your absolute biggest challenge prior to doing a personal brand shoot?

A. Before having a personal brand shoot, I felt sort of disconnected from my work seeing how it all fit together, and I felt overwhelmed posting it on social media. Seeing Heather capture the work I do and the passion I have for helping people move their lives and bodies, I now feel more inspired and organized than ever before.

Q. What changed after getting your images?

A. I can now execute on creating marketing pieces for upcoming events, workshops, retreats, and social media posts. It has given me so much more time back in my calendar and I can run my business more effectively and efficiently.

Q. What specific results can you share?

A. Since I’ve been able to share quality images, and boost more posts, I’ve been able to drive more traffic to my website and get more inquiries and sales.

Q. What would you say to somebody on the fence about booking a shoot?

A. A professional photo shoot is essential for any entrepreneur- especially if you are in the service space. I advise all my business clients that are in a growth stage of business to make key investments in their business. Sometimes these investments can take up to a year to fully see the ROI. Working with Heather has changed so much for my business- her expertise and vision really helped me capture everything I needed for my business and see immediate results. I’m seeing a huge return on this investment and I know you will too.

A. The only regret you will have is not doing this sooner!
