{jennifer and chris} San Francisco

I really love when I have the chance to shoot a fun destination wedding. When I got the call from Jen to shoot her wedding in San Francisco I was so excited. I love the city and actually went to college there for a while in between travels. Jen and Chris were amazing to work with. Jen is a wedding videographer so she knew exactly what type of light I was looking for and put together the perfect timeline for pictures. Their friends and family were all so close, supportive, and fun, it made the day great for me!

They were married in the famous Saint Peter & Paul Church where Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio had their ceremony in 1954. Oddly enough, this amazingly beautiful Catholic church is located at 666 Filbert Street…only in San Francisco. After the ceremony and lots of great pictures around San Francisco, we headed to the reception at Marine’s Memorial Club near Union Square. There are so many fun pictures from the day, here are my favorites!

I loved this idea of a dual-garter-bouquet toss, very original.

Here’s Jen, having a blast at the reception and rapping to old school rap with her bridesmaids!!

My clients often say the hardest part was just reaching out—after that, I guide them through everything. If you’ve been thinking about photos, I’d love to make it easy for you.
When people ask what kind of portraits I do, the answer is simple: ones that show love, connection, and personality. If that’s what you want, I’d love to create it with you.
Every wall in your home tells a story. I’d love to help you design artwork that reflects the people you love most. If you’d like that, let’s start planning.
What I’ve learned over 20 years is that every family has their own rhythm, and the best portraits come when I let that guide the session. If you’d like photos that feel like your family, let’s chat.
I’ve photographed in so many local spots—beaches, trails, fields, and in-home sessions. Each one tells a different story. If you’d like help choosing, let’s talk about it.
Sometimes families think their kids won’t cooperate—but those are often the best sessions. Real life makes for real memories. If you’d like to capture that, let’s plan it together.
