Krissy and Elvin’s wedding at the Rancho Bernardo Inn was absolutely gorgeous and romantic. I love this venue for weddings and photography, and their food and catering is also amazing! Kristen Garuba of Pink Papaya Events coordinated the entire day to perfectly match what the couple was dreaming of and Annette Gomez of Flowers by Annette went above and beyond to create florals that encompassed both the bride and grooms styles. It’s crazy to think I photographed their wedding years ago, and now here we are—chasing waves and dodging splashes with their amazing kids! I’ve been lucky enough to capture so many milestones for this family, and every session is a new adventure.⁣
⁣
This time, I got a front-row seat to their behind-the-scenes family dynamic, and let me tell you—these kids do not mess around when it comes to being competitive. I made the rookie mistake of telling them they could splash at me... let’s just say I won’t be doing that again anytime soon. 😂⁣

All jokes aside, we had an absolute blast, and I love how their personalities shine through in every photo. I’m already looking forward to the next round (but maybe with a raincoat).
