For family portraits, Leo Carrillo Ranch is a classic location for a reason. With the beautiful beach and Spanish architecture you can frame unique and fun compositions. The outdoors make it great for kids who might not want to be on their best behavior ….. But they just can’t help having fun at this awesome location! Leo Carrillo Ranch is a scenic 70 acre historic ranch located in Carlsbad, just north of San Diego. Many Carlsbad photographers offer family portrait sessions here which makes it look like it’s the most popular place in Carlsbad to do family portraits, but let’s just say I’ve shot at a few locations around town and Leo Carrillo Ranch is one of my favorites and the best place to get family photos in Carlsbad. When it comes to family photos, Leo Carrillo Ranch is one of the best places in Carlsbad. A famous landmark in California and along the stunning coast of Southern California. If you’re planning a visit to Southern California, or just want something different for your family photos, Leo Carrillo Ranch is worth considering.

In this session, I got to work with one of my favorite families again! I love that my clients come back to me year after year because it’s always so wonderful to see their faces again and see how much the kids have grown! Here are some of my favorite photos with this adorable family!
