Location:
Batiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad, California. This is one of my absolute favorite locations for family photo sessions and also for runs and dog walks when I get a chance! It is such a gorgeous spot in both the morning and the evening!
Vision & style:
I love the natural colors that went with the location in this photo shoot! I also love that they picked a few patterns to give the composition some interest. Laying out the outfit all together before a photo shoot and looking at it as one outfit is the key. Look how well the large and small prints work together. Combining outfits and prints takes some skill!
Favorite moment:
My favorite moment was when the family arrived with their beloved dog! I am a huge fan of including your family pet in the photo shoot. Dogs are a true part of their family…these photos will be treasured forever!
