Nicole + Joel :: L’Auberge Del Mar Wedding Photography

L’Auberge Del Mar is one of my absolute favorite wedding venues in Southern California. Their in house coordinators are amazing, the food is delicious, and each event is planned and executed in such an easy going and natural way that you wouldn’t dream of all the hard work going on behind the scenes. Exactly as it should be! Nicole and Joel were wonderful to work with and I was in love with all the amazing details and vibrant colors at their wedding. I also love that they included their dog! Such a sweet family already and it was an honor to have been able to capture it for them.

It’s crazy to think I photographed their wedding years ago, and now here we are—chasing waves and dodging splashes with their amazing kids! I’ve been lucky enough to capture so many milestones for this family, and every session is a new adventure.⁣
⁣
This time, I got a front-row seat to their behind-the-scenes family dynamic, and let me tell you—these kids do not mess around when it comes to being competitive. I made the rookie mistake of telling them they could splash at me... let’s just say I won’t be doing that again anytime soon. 😂⁣

All jokes aside, we had an absolute blast, and I love how their personalities shine through in every photo. I’m already looking forward to the next round (but maybe with a raincoat).
