FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
Whether I'm capturing your sweet family, or celebrating a special moment in your life, like a birthday, anniversary or new baby, I'm so honored to help you create memories you’ll cherish for a lifetime. These sessions are so much fun! Your only job is to be yourself, laugh a lot and let me create photos you’ll love forever. I am a big director so I will be guiding you every step of the way. Portraits are all about relationships and I love to show that in my images.
Your Session Experience
My goal is to take the stress out of family photography for you. Our sessions are fun, laid back, and meaningful. Best of all, I won’t leave you hanging because I always give flattering directions and come with lot’s of creative ideas for compositions and posing. The biggest compliment I get is when families say they are surprised by how much fun they have on the session. My style focuses on your unique family connection and love, while creating images of you together that you will treasure.
For family and maternity sessions we meet at one of the incredible locations our gorgeous area has to offer. For newborn sessions, we meet in the comfort of your home.
Full Service Sessions
Here at Vallentyne photography, we are a little bit different. We offer full-service portrait photography. This means that after your session, your images will not only be edited, but we also will print & deliver for you. Full retouching is included on everything you order and our lab partners are the highest quality available, so you'll never have to worry about the final product. And not to worry, you will get the digitals too! Everything will be taken care of for you through an easy, guided process.

Seniors, it’s that time! Deadlines for yearbook photos are creeping up (and we all know senior year is packed with events, sports, and college apps). The newborn phase is a blur—sleepless nights, endless snuggles, tiny fingers wrapped around yours. You’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and somehow the happiest you’ve ever been. I remember it well, and looking back, I know now those were some of the most special days of my life.
That’s why I love in-home newborn sessions. Every family’s story is unique, and capturing those first days—right where life is happening—makes it even more meaningful. This sweet new family welcomed me into their home, and documenting their love for their brand-new baby was pure magic. ✨

One minute, you’re rocking a tiny newborn who fits in the crook of your arm, and the next, they’re toddling across the beach with sand-covered toes, grinning like they own the world. How does it go by so fast? Seriously—someone tell me the secret to slowing time down. 😅
I got to photograph this sweet little girl’s newborn session just last year, and now here we are celebrating her first birthday with a dreamy sunset at the beach. Seeing her grow into this happy, curious little person has been so special—it’s one of the best parts of my job, hands down.
Parenthood is such a whirlwind, isn’t it? It’s the late nights, the messy days, and the moments you don’t even realize are special until they’re gone. But it’s also why I love capturing these milestones—because in a world where time doesn’t slow down, photos help us hold onto those tiny details a little longer. 💕
