Do I have to use your hair and makeup artist?
Professional hair and makeup isn’t required, but I strongly recommend it for the best results. It really elevates the finished look.
I’m not comfortable in front of the camera. Will you guide me?
Absolutely. I’ll guide you through posing and expression from start to finish, so you always know exactly what to do.
What should I wear and how should I prepare?
You’ll receive a complete preparation and wardrobe guide before your session with everything you need to arrive ready.
How much does it cost?
Modern Headshots are $690 and include professional hair and makeup, your one-hour session, and two professionally retouched digital images.
How long does it take?
Your photography session is about one hour, with additional time beforehand for professional hair and makeup.
How do I choose my images?
You’ll view your images right after your session and choose your favorites the same day. Love more than two? You can easily add additional images to your collection.
How soon will I get my images?
Your professionally retouched images will be delivered within 14 days of making your final selections.
What if I need to reschedule?
Of course. Just give me as much notice as possible, and we’ll move your session to another available Modern Headshots date.
What can I use my headshots for?
Your website, Newsletter, social media, speaker bios, press, marketing materials, and anywhere else you show up professionally.
Do you offer a quick one-image headshot?
Modern Headshots begin with two finished images and are designed to give you variety with multiple looks and backgrounds.
Why not just use a phone photo or AI headshot?
AI can create a version of you. I’ll create a photograph that actually looks like you, with professional lighting, posing, and expression coaching. And yes, people can tell.
