Before I share this beautiful session, I do want to note that photography is no longer allowed at the Self-Realization Fellowship Meditation Gardens in Encinitas, CA. I’m so grateful I had the chance to capture proposals and engagement photos here in the past — it truly is a special place.

Self-Realization Fellowship Meditation Gardens

The Encinitas Meditation Gardens are tucked along the cliffs in beautiful Encinitas, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Giant trees, quiet pathways, koi ponds, and those sweeping coastal views… it’s one of those places that instantly makes you pause and just breathe it in.

When photography was permitted here, it was such a dreamy setting for a Surprise Proposal and Engagement Photos session. The light filtered softly through the trees, the ocean sparkled behind the cliffs, and there were so many little tucked-away corners that felt intimate and private.

But what really made this location special wasn’t just the scenery — it was the feeling.
